Annual Dinner 2024

The Annual Dinner took place at The Courtside at The All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club on 7 March 2024, following the Association AGM. The event was well-attended, with 99 members and guests present.

This year’s event featured General Sir James Richard Hockenhull as the guest speaker. Sir Jim, a distinguished British Army officer, has an impressive career spanning several critical roles. He served as Chief of Defence Intelligence from December 2018 and was appointed Commander of UK Strategic Command in May 2022. His extensive experience provided unique insights into strategy, intelligence, and international cooperation, making for a highly informative and topical evening.

Guests were captivated by Sir Jim's stories. Following his speech, filled with valuable insights from his illustrious career, there was an engaging Q&A session where attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and delve deeper into topics of interest, making the event even more insightful given the world's current events.
